Bringg sends quote requests to each carrier you are connected to and receives responses with rates, availability, and ETAs, based on the information that the carrier provides.

Bringg's Carrier Selector

Set up Bringg's carrier selector to automatically assign the best carrier for each order, in line with your business priorities and delivery strategy.

Using the carrier selector saves dispatchers valuable time and guarantees the best service for you and your consumers when working with multiple carriers.

For each order, Bringg checks the ETA or delivery price offered by each carrier, which can vary by the delivery distance, dimensions of the goods, or additional services included in the order. Bringg then automatically offers the order to each carrier, starting with the cheapest or fastest, until one accepts the order. Alternatively, Bringg can offer order assignments to carriers according to a predefined sequence or using vendor allocation.

For example, always offer orders first to your preferred local carrier. If they are not available, offer the order to one of two other carriers, whichever can deliver the order fastest.

Rate Cards

You can set up rate cards for carriers and your Own Fleet by entering the financial terms of your contract with each carrier or your own delivery costs. Bringg uses rate cards to calculate the cheapest option for each order to help you cut costs with more accurate rate calculations. This is particularly useful when your carrier doesn't provide automatic or accurate quotes. Learn more about setting up Rate Cards.

Delivery Terms

You can add Delivery Terms to define when Bringg should consider using specific Own Fleet drivers and external carriers for each order based on the order requirements and your overall strategy. For example, you can specify the service plans, areas, and order types a carrier supports and the maximum weight they can carry. Learn more about setting up Delivery Terms.
