Bringg is committed to serving you as best as possible and protecting your customer data.
What is Personal Information or Personal Data?
Personal information (or personal data) legally refers to any representation of information that can reveal the identity of an individual to whom the information applies to be reasonably inferred by either direct or indirect means.
In other words, if the details can help identify a person, they are considered personal information. We understand privacy is paramount, so we have updated our practices so as not to hold on to such details any longer than we need to.
In the Bringg Platform, this mainly includes any of the following items about your customers*:
- Name
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
- Order history (with a customer attached to it)
- Location data (latitude and longitude)
- Signature confirmation
In some cases, we remove data from the system entirely. But in other cases, we anonymize the data so that the metrics and insights are still available to help you streamline your operations.

Impact on Bringg Integrations
Since Bringg will no longer retain customer personal information beyond the designated period, it is important to ensure your webhook and API integrations are up to date and carry the required customer details, including name, address, phone number, and email. Check your email for further details, or contact your Bringg representative with any questions.
